Behind The Brand
Dominique Brandt is a highly skilled and adaptable professional, leveraging her multifaceted background as an Air Force veteran, corporate professional, and licensed Master Esthetician and Instructor. As the owner and operator of Brave Skin Remedy, Dominique specializes in mature skin and Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) treatments, providing targeted and effective solutions for Black and Brown women.

Her impressive credentials include a CIDESCO Beauty Therapy Diplome International, NCEA Certification, Subject Matter Expert for the National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC). In 2023, she won the title of Esthetician of the Year by The Skin Games. Dominique is deeply passionate about process improvement, enhancing the client experience, and helping estheticians think critically about their treatments.

Her career includes over two and a half years as a Master Esthetician Instructor, as well as roles such as SIIT Pro Regional Trainer for BeautyEQ, Online Course Creator, Coach for competitors in The Skin Games, and Director of Education at The Skin Games. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and an A.A. in Restaurant, Hotel, and Fitness Management.

WHAT IS NIC?
The National Interstate of Council promote uniform standards in cosmetology and related fields through testing, collaboration, and a national data repository. Their vision focuses on enhancing consumer health and safety, workforce mobility, education, and provides standardized examinations.
